SIS Integration Process
The EZRouting system is designed to automatically update student data overnight each night. To check the information that is being imported, you can go to the general settings. Under ‘Data Sync’, you will be able to see the date and time that the last data sync was executed. In addition, you can download the file last synced to see the student information that was most recently imported. If desired, you can make modifications to the import process using the checkboxes provided.
New Change Requests
If there is a change to a student’s profile as requested by the district’s SIS, it will show up under the new/change requests. You will be able to view if the request is for a change in transportation. You will then be able to view the details of the request and accept/deny the request. If no transportation review is needed, a batch of requests can be approved all at once. A request will also be marked if it is for a student withdrawal. You can view the history of new/change requests under the ‘history’ tab.
Common Questions about the SIS Integration
Why a student is shown as withdrawn?
- It is possible that a student has a duplicate record and one of the records is trying to be withdrawn. You can use the filter possible duplicates feature to check for this.
- The student has a withdrawal date in the SIS file.
Why a new student is not imported via today’s request? His/her record is in the SIS file.

You can verify the information most recently synced by downloading the file last synced and checking for the desired changes. If there is a discrepancy, please contact your Student Information System (SIS) lead at your school to double-check that the student information is syncing nightly.
- The student is hidden under the special mode.
- It is likely that when the nightly data sync is taking place, the student’s information is not accurately syncing. Please contact our support team.
