There are two ways to create a stop from the stops tab in Travel Tracker Routing.
One option is to create a stop by clicking on the map. This is recommended for corner stops or stops where you do not have an official address.
1. To create a stop by clicking on the map, use this icon:
Once you’ve clicked that icon, you will see the following
message in the top right corner of your map. This means you are ready to click
on the map to create a stop.
2. If you haven’t already, zoom in on the map where you’d like
to create a stop. The closer you are, the more accurate the location. Once
you’ve zoomed in, click once on the map to create the stop.
3. Once you click on the map to create the stop, the “New Stop” window will open. If you created a stop at an intersection, the stop name will
be the name of the two streets that meet, and the system will automatically
mark it as a corner stop.
With any other type of stop, the stop name will be the
address. You can change the stop name to something more recognizable to your
drivers.
4. Once you’ve made all of your adjustments and selections click “save.”
The new stop is created. You can now add it to routes.
