Rather
than seeing available vehicles, you may want to see which vehicles are assigned
in your district. This guide will walk you through using the Assignment
Inquiry, Trip Inquiry, and Calendars to see which vehicles are already assigned
to trips.
Assignment Inquiry
Navigate to the Assignments tab.
The assignments tab defaults to
“upcoming” trips, trips from this day forward, with assigned vehicles or
drivers. Unassigned trips will not be shown on the Assignments Tab.
The “Assignment” column on the trip summary will show the
Vehicle and driver reserved for each trip. If a trip requires multiple vehicle
and driver assignments, all assignments are listed individually. For example,
trip #592 below needs two vehicles and drivers. The assignments for Bus 05 and
09 are listed separately with their drivers.
To see assignments for a specific
date, clear the upcoming filters using the “X” in the search bar. Go to Filters – Date – Date Range.
Select
the start and end date for which you want to see assignments. Click apply.
This will show just assignments for the date or date range you selected.
Trip Inquiry
Navigate to the Trips tab.
The Tab defaults to “upcoming” trips, trips from this day
forward, even if no vehicle or driver is assigned. You can see the status of
the trip in the Status column.
To
see upcoming trips with assignments, go to Filters – Status – Approved.
Assigned trips are green and will say “Assigned” in the status column. To see the assignments for a trip, expand the trip summary by clicking on the arrow on the right side.
Vehicle Calendar
Navigate to the Calendar tab. Select “Vehicle Calendar” from the view options.
This shows vehicle assignments in your district in an
easy-to-use calendar view.
You
can switch between a Day, Week, Month, or 4 Day View.
The Day view shows vehicle assignments for a specific day, displayed by time.
